Year 1 – Bucklebury farm visit

On Thursday 22nd march 2018 Year 1 went on a trip to Bucklebury Farm. The children had an amazing time and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The main focus of the trip was to look at how seasonal changes effects animals and the environment. They had the opportunity to feed some animals, hold some pets and learn about the different animals which are born in spring. The children also had the opportunity to go on a nature and wild walk, where they looked out for the first signs of spring. To finish off our day, the children were able to use up the rest of their energy in the play ground before heading back to school on the coach.
